Situated in the Culver City area, nearby the current Sony Picture Studios, this mixed-use project will aim to serve the surrounding local neighborhood and production studios. The building will contain 139 dwelling units and 2,000 square feet of commercial space along Washington Blvd. Seven-stories, with subterranean parking, the exterior features various plaster techniques in smooth white, textured warm tones, and decorative metal screens. The U-shaped plan of the residential floors above wraps around a grand courtyard with a BBQ and pool deck and brings daylight and airflow throughout each dwelling unit. Residents can also utilize the building’s private fitness center, library, rec rooms and two shared roof terraces that overlook the central courtyard. Interiors heavily feature wood and warm neutral tones that complement the exterior material palette.
