Ojai House is a 5,500 sqft vacation home set in tranquil and rural Ventura County with 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and a guest house. The guest house features gabions sourced from local Ojai rocks that blend in beautifully with the surrounding landscape and help to insulate the rooms against heat during the day and cold at night. The main house boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that offer magnificent views overlooking the upper Ojai mountains. With an earthy color palette inspired by old barn houses, the simple structure doesn’t compete with the natural beauty of the landscape. Designed in collaboration with Mckuin Design.
